Founded in 2014 by sound designer and composer Lewis James, La Indiana is a UK-based sound design and music studio creating bespoke audio for interactive entertainment, film and television. Our team works across every stage of audio production, from original recording and sound design through to composition, implementation and final mix.
Original recording sits at the heart of our process. By combining sound design, composition and technical audio within a single workflow, we are able to move efficiently from concept to implementation while remaining flexible to the needs of each project.
Our purpose-built 7.1 studio has been developed around the way we work. Years spent refining equipment, recording resources and workflows have created an environment designed for efficient, bespoke audio production, bringing together a carefully curated collection of specialist equipment, instruments and custom recording props to support sound design, composition and mixing.
We integrate with development teams worldwide, whether as an extension of an existing audio department, a dedicated external audio team, or by providing additional audio resource to help teams scale during periods of increased workload.
